The idea of arriving at new solutions through getting to know different people, scenarios and places excites me.

The above quote has resonated with me for years now. I think it is true in a world sense and a personal sense. I believe it encompasses the idea of thinking globally and acting locally. What I have found to be true in my career so far is that the actions and the influences of small but significant groups of people affect your whole creative journey, and how you’re capable of giving back to the world.

Experience

I have 6 years of industry experience working for digital consultancies and agencies in Melbourne. My current position is at Designit as a Senior User Experience Designer. My problem-solving mindset is applied to all projects and has aided in solving our client’s challenges successfully. Whilst working at Designit I have developed skills in product design & strategy, user research, user testing, workshop facilitation, stakeholder engagement, wireframing & prototyping, leading and taking ownership of project deliverables and working in agile teams.

Before Designit, I worked at AKQA in Melbourne where I was encouraged to be curious and explore different types of design, use design thinking to solve challenges for our clients and communicate confidently. At AKQA I gained skills in responsive web design, UX design, UI design and accessible design.
